This February, explore the amazing history of the Black Pittsburgh men who created the nation's first EMT service, Freedom House, in 1967. We will read and discuss American Sirens: The Incredible Story of the Black Men Who Became America's First Paramedics by Kevin Hazzard - plus, Freedom House member John Moon will join us for conversation and share his experiences in emergency medicine through the years.
