Join us for community conversations about diversity & inclusion!

This Summer, we’re reading and discussing Dear America: Notes of an Undocumented Citizen by Jose Antonio Vargas. Writing with power and poetry, Pultizer Prize-winning journalist Vargas considers the emotional and psychological toll of living undocumented in America, the struggles faced by immigrant individuals and families, and the mutable nature of our ideas of "home." Michelle Alexander, author of The New Jim Crow, writes “This riveting, courageous memoir ought to be mandatory reading for every American.”

Copies are available for checkout at the Library’s circulation desk. Pick up your copy of the book any time the Library is open!
