What do you do if you see someone being harassed or threatened? Bystander intervention trainings have been proven to reduce interpersonal violence. Learn to be an upstander!
Community involvement and partnership is important when thinking about how to prevent street harassment and sexual violence. Bystander intervention can be a way to engage people in keeping their community safe. The PAAR Bystander Intervention Training seeks to move beyond the concept of just being a bystander to building skills around safe intervention and de-escalation strategies, while recognizing that safety is always key.
