Celebrate world cultures and experience a variety of mediums and art-making styles! This program is made possible through a PA Creative Communities Mini-Grant.

Kids in grades 5-8 can join us on three Wednesdays in September to create art celebrating cultures around the world.

This event will take place in the Studio (lower level) from 5-6:30 pm. Materials will be provided.

The curriculum for the 5-8th grade series will include:

  • September 11th - Exploring Sopocachi Street Art (Acrylic, markers, cut paper)
  • September 18th - Victorian Art - the Prim, Peculiar, and Picaresque (Color pencil, ink, charcoal)
  • September 25th - Adventures in Tapa and Batik Fibers (Kraft paper, crayons for wax resist, watercolors)

Registration is required to attend this event. Registration will be limited to 20 participants. Please note that if you register for this event, you are registering to attend all 3 Wednesday sessions.
