Program Description

Event Details

Each year, Carnegie Mayor Stacie Riley's "Mayor's Monarch Pledge" with the National Wildlife Foundation requires a public art action.

This year, students of all ages are invited to create artwork inspired by monarch butterfly conservation!

Creations will be displayed at the Andrew Carnegie Free Library & Music Hall and in local businesses throughout the month of August to raise awareness and celebrate monarchs.

There are three art-making sessions scheduled: Mondays, May 19th, June 2nd, and June 9th. Come to one session or all three!

All art supplies will be provided. Just bring your imagination and let your art inspire others to protect monarch habitats.
